Product care
Here are some good caring advice to make your products last longer..
Dog Collars
-
Wear the collar when out walking, leave it off at home.
-
Keep the collar connected even when it’s not in use. This helps the collar to get its natural rounded shape (don't flatten it out after been used).
-
Never store the collar in direct sunlight or close to a heating source, this will dry out the leather.
-
Don't use the collar when you go for a swim (leather doesn't like water very much).
-
If the collar gets wet, wipe it off with a dry cloth.
-
If the collar gets dirty, dry it off with a damp cloth or use a soft leather cleaner and follow up with a leather protection cream. For vegan collars use a PU-leather cleaner and conditioner.
-
Try to avoid using our leather collars on the most rainy days. For rainy days use one of our vegan collars instead.
-
If the collar is used as an everyday collar it will wear out faster. Try to choose between different collars during the week.
PS. Think of your collars in the same way as a pair of shoes and choose a collar for the weather and occasion. That way your dog collars will last longer.
Dog Leads
-
After using the dog lead, let it hang straight and freely.
-
Don't let the lead be stored in direct sunlight or close to a heating source, that will make the leather dry.
-
If the lead gets wet, wipe it off with a dry cloth.
-
If the lead gets dirty dry it of with a damp cloth or use a soft leather cleaner and follow up with a leather protection cream. For vegan leads use a PU-leather cleaner and conditioner.
-
Try to avoid using your leather lead on the most rainy days. For rainy days use one of our PU leads instead.
-
Also make sure to keep your lead away from hungry chewing pups 🦖
